Tina Shumate sentenced to 2 years after pleading guilty to state charges in DMR scandal
BILOXI, Mississippi — Tina Shumate, former director of the CIAP program for the Department of Marine Resources, was sentenced to two years in prison and ordered to pay more than $14,000 in restitution after pleading guilty to two state charges of embezzlement on Friday.
