Yesterday, we filed a legal challenge to the sham primary runoff from June 24. Can you contribute to the Election Challenge Fund to help support our fight for a fair election?
I’m writing to give you an update of where we stand right now:
• As we laid out in our election challenge yesterday, there is a lot of evidence that will astonish anyone who believes in free, fair elections.
• The seriousness of the apparent violations place the outcome of the June 24th runoff into serious doubt.
• We believe the prospect of winning this challenge is very good.
I believe that we have a very good chance of winning, but there’s still a long way to go. Our first step is with the Mississippi GOP Executive Committee, but they’re not required to hear the challenge. Right now, we must do everything we can to make sure the GOP hears the challenge.
So, what can you do to help?
The Mississippi GOP must know that the Barbour/Cochran super PAC behavior was despicable and will not be tolerated. Spread the word about my challenge to your friends and family, and take to social media to make sure the Mississippi Republican Party knows that you care about free and fair elections.
Second, please take a moment to contribute to the Election Challenge Fund. These court proceedings will be costly, and I won’t be able to do it without the help of conservatives everywhere.
During the campaign, conservatives like you stood by me because you believed in my conservative message. Now, I need your help again.
