AG: County can prohibit e-cigarettes
HERNANDO — DeSoto County officials can prohibit the use of e-cigarettes within county buildings, the Attorney General has stated in an Attorney General’s Opinion.
In April, the DeSoto County Board of Supervisors sought a Mississippi Attorney General’s Opinion on whether or not the Clean Air Act, which prohibited smoking from government buildings, can apply to e-cigarettes when the issue was just a little hazy — to coin a phrase.
