State Treasurer Lynn Fitch, in Pike County to deliver the commencement address at Southwest Mississippi Community College’s graduation on Wednesday, made a lunchtime stop to speak to the McComb Rotary Club.
In brief remarks, the first-term treasurer touched on several duties of her office. These include selling bonds for the state to borrow money; Fitch said the treasurer’s office will sell about $250 million worth this fall.
