Chief Executive CY Leung met a US Congressional delegation led by President Pro Tempore of the Senate Patrick Leahy and Deputy Minority Whip of the Senate Roger Wicker at the Chief Executive’s Office today.
Mr Leung said Hong Kong and the US enjoy close trade and economic ties. As an international city, Hong Kong can act as the “super-connector” in linking the US to markets both on the Mainland and across Asia.
He said he hopes to continue frequent exchanges and co-operation with the US on all fronts.
