State lawmakers say Mississippi schoolteachers will be getting paid over 12 months despite the change in school start dates this year, but they can’t guarantee the same for other school employees.
Bus drivers, cafeteria workers, custodians and others, lawmakers said, may have to shift to a nine-month pay schedule.
