Former Congressman Travis Childers, marina settle lawsuit
Former U.S. Rep. Travis Childers of Booneville and Pickwick marina businesses have settled their legal differences.
Monday, Childers’ attorney Casey Lott filed a joint request to dismiss, saying the parties agree to terms.
Childers sued Flagship Aqua Yacht LLC and Flagship Marinas Acquisition LLC in June 2012 saying the companies were negligent and reckless to allow nearly 7,000 gallons of gasoline to leak from one of its fuel storage tanks onto Childers’ property.
