Ingalls gets $76.8M contract for cutter materials
Huntington Ingalls Industries received a $76.8 million U.S. Coast Guard contract Friday to start the ball rolling on construction of a seventh National Security Cutter.
U.S. Sens. Thad Cochran and Roger Wicker, along with U.S. Rep. Steven Palazzo, all Republicans from Mississippi, welcomed the contract, which will be used for materials for the production of NSC 7 at the Pascagoula shipyard.
