McDaniel, Palazzo say fight against Obamacare will continue
Some opponents of the Patient Protection and Affordable Care Act in Mississippi are vowing to continue the fight against that law, also known as Obamacare, despite President Obama’s re-election. State Senator Chris McDaniel, who filed suit against the law in 2010, is among those hoping it could still be overturned in court.
For now, he says he’ll work to educate people about it.
“Obamacare is such a flawed piece of legislation, it’s going to eventually implode,” said McDaniel Thursday at a meeting of Jones County Republican Women. “The problem is, it’s going to implode after is costs us several trillion dollars. Eventually, there won’t be Obamacare, but right now, we have to live with it,” he said.
