“There are few things more important than a person’s right to vote. That is why it is crucial for every Mississippian to know that when they show up at their polling place on November 6, they will not be asked to show identification.
For the life of me, I do not know why some politicians have chosen to be unclear about the state of current voting laws in Mississippi. I sincerely hope that Mississippi’s newspapers and television stations will clear up any confusion before Election Day and encourage all Mississippians to get out and vote.”
