Lake Tangipahoa Dam Expected To Fail
The Lake Tangipahoa Dam in Southern Mississippi is “expected to fail,” emergency management and law enforcement officials report. Severe flooding is expected downstream along the Tangipahoa River as water levels are expected to rise.
The National Weather Service has issued a flash flood warning in the area until 11:15 a.m. CT.
