MS Congressman Gregg Harper comments on Romney VP choice
Saturday, Mississippi’s Third District Congressman Gregg Harper issued a statement regarding Congressman Paul Ryan being selected as the Vice-Presidential candidate by Mitt Romney.
“I had the privilege of serving on the House Budget Committee with Congressman Paul Ryan during my first term in the House,” said Congressman Harper. “Paul is an incredible visionary and has put forth a serious plan to address the exploding federal debt and deficits by reforming government through real spending discipline and restored economic freedom,” said Congressman Harper.
“I truly believe the Romney-Ryan ticket is a conservative team that can win in November and will return our country to the right economic policies and support for the traditional values on which our country was founded,” Harper added.
