Mississippi Gov. Phil Bryant talked up the Gulf Coast as a great place to do business during a reception in London on July 8.

The Aerospace Alliance event was co-hosted by the states of Alabama, Florida, Louisiana and Mississippi on the eve of the Farnborough International Air Show.

Bryant was one of three governors on hand for the reception, joining Robert Bentley of Alabama and Rick Scott of Florida. The lavish setting inside the Banqueting House at Whitehall Palace put Bryant in mind of another Republican colleague — Texas Gov. Rick Perry.

“Pretty nice room, isn’t it?” he said. “It’s almost a replica of Rick Perry’s office.”
