Eaton CEO – ‘We have not lived up to our standards’
Eaton Chief Executive Alexander Cutler told a Mississippi judge that the company failed in its duty to turn over email records in a long-running legal fight with a rival manufacturer.
Cutler, in a sworn affidavit, proposed sanctions for the court to impose on Eaton, including mandatory training of all in-house lawyers and paralegals on how to respond to requests for emails and other electronic data.
