Bryant to give State of the State speech next week
Mississippi Gov. Phil Bryant will give his first State of the State address next week.
A legislative resolution says the speech is set for 5:30 p.m. Jan. 24 on the south steps of the Capitol. If weather is bad, the speech will be moved to its usual spot, in the House chamber.
Bryant began his four-year term Jan. 10. A chance of rain that day forced the inaugural ceremonies inside the Capitol.
