Bryant’s message called ‘encouraging’
Dozens of dignitaries and former state leaders were among the crowd packed into the House chamber for Phil Bryant’s inauguration Tuesday.
“It was a very encouraging positive message,” Republican U.S. Rep. Gregg Harper said of Bryant’s inauguration speech.
In addition to Harper, who represents the 3rd District, two other congressmen, a U.S. senator, two former governors, three former lieutenant governors and two former House speakers and all of Mississippi’s current state-wide elected officials and lawmakers were in attendance.
