According to MDOC records inmate Joseph Ozment was serving sentences for murder, armed robbery and conspiracy at the Governor’s Mansion in downton Jackson.
Ozment was convicted in 1994 and given a life sentence. The family of victim Ricky Montgomery said they’re devastated to hear Ozment would be released Sunday.
