Palazzo files papers to seek re-election
United States Rep. Steven Palazzo filed qualifying papers today and will run for re-election to Mississippi’s 4th congressional district seat.
Laura Chambers, Palazzo communications director, confirmed this afternoon that the first-term Congressman officially had filed.
Palazzo, who defeated longtime incumbent Gene Taylor in the 2010 election, had declared his intentions in late December, and had until Jan. 13 to qualify.
