BIPEC Releases 2011 Recommendations
Earlier today, BIPEC released a listing of the group’s recommendations for 2011 House and Senate races. A PDF with all of the recommendations is below. What you’ll probably notice is the lack of Democratic candidates; just one Democrat in the House and it was a dual recommendation for both Democrat Jody Steverson and Republican James Benefield in HD 4. But in every other key race that we are tracking, they sided with the Republican candidate.
On the Senate side, incumbent Democrats Nickey Browning (SD 3) and David Blount (SD 29) received a recommendation. Democrat James Walley picked up a dual recommendation in the open SD 43 race with Republican Philip Gandy. All the rest went to the Republican.
