Congressman Steven Palazzo’s newest district office opens in Pascagoula
PASCAGOULA, Mississippi — Congressman Steven Palazzo welcomed his newest office on Monday at Merchants & Marine Bank, taking the opportunity to address today’s vote on what he described as a “permanent solution to the spending addiction in Washington, D.C.”
About 100 community leaders joined Palazzo for the event.
“On behalf of all the citizens of Pascagoula, we thank you for continuing the long, long tradition of having a congressional office in Pascagoula,” Mayor Robbie Maxwell said.
Palazzo said choosing Pascagoula in general and M&M in particular was a no-brainer. During campaigning, he said, he was impressed by residents’ warmth, and he called M&M an example of post-Katrina spirit.
