Dave Dennis, for the best of reasons
Lt. Gov. Bryant, Delta businessman Bill Luckett and Hattiesburg Mayor Johnny Dupree have each presented themselves to be capable men who each represent unique capacities and hope in their bid to be governor.
But for the Sun Herald it is Dave Dennis who stands out as the candidate who can, and we believe, will help to lead Mississippi upward from the difficult days which define the state in this hot and dry summer of 2011.
We ask those who live on this coastal plain to consider Dave Dennis, one of our own, for the state’s highest office. For the best of reasons, it is his time, and it is ours.
