Mississippi voters’ registration deadline near
Time is short for anyone wanting to vote in Mississippi’s August primary elections and not already registered.
The registration deadline is July 3, but mailed applications must be postmarked by Saturday, since July 3 is a Sunday.
Registration by mail requires obtaining the form from local Circuit Clerk’s offices or from the Secretary of State’s website.
Voters may also register in person at the Circuit Clerk’s office for the voter’s home county. In DeSoto County, that would be the office of Circuit Clerk Dale Kelly Thompson at the DeSoto County Courthouse in Hernando.
