Senator Robert Jackson Endorses Luckett
Says Luckett “…has been a pillar of the Clarksdale community for decades, as a take-charge, no-nonsense successful businessman and hands-on leader who knows how to create jobs in a struggling economy.”

CLARKSDALE, MS. — Senator Robert Jackson announces his support of Bill Luckett for Governor.

“Bill is my neighbor, friend, and lifelong member of the Coahoma community. He has been a pillar of the Clarksdale community for decades, as a take-charge, no-nonsense successful businessman and hands-on leader who knows how to create jobs in a struggling economy. Bill is a man who sincerely respects all people. He values diversity and inclusion, and has a lifelong record of commitment to social justice. I look forward to serving with him in the next legislative session, him as Governor and me as State Senator for District 11.”

Senator Robert Jackson represents District 11 (Coahoma, Quitman, Tate, and Tunica). Elected in 2004, Senator Jackson is a member of Alpha Phi Alpha, 21st Century Investment Club and Quitman County Social Service Club for Senior Citizens. He is Chair of the Executive Contingent Fund Committee and Vice-Chair of Veterans and Military Affairs.
