State Rep. Tracy Arinder back on campaign trail
MORTON — State Rep. Tracy Arinder, a Democrat from Morton, who had dropped out of a campaign for re-election to the Mississippi House in May is back in it.
The Scott County Times reports that Arinder, who served two terms from Scott County, qualified to run as an independent.
Arinder said he made the decision after watching how legislative races around the state developed. He said Scott County needs an experienced lawmaker in Jackson.
