Qualifies to Run for Mississippi Senate

Tenth Senate District includes Panola County
and portions of Tate County

JACKSON – Vann Branch of Panola County has qualified and announced his intentions to seek the Mississippi State Senate in District 10. The district is currently represented by Senator Nolan Mettetal (R).

Vann has lived in the district since 1979. He has been a successful business owner, licensed contractor and real estate investor since 1984. As a State Senator, Vann intends to work for the residents and employers of District 10 to lower taxes, reduce the price of gasoline, and fight welfare fraud. Vann will guard against wasteful spending that reduces the standard of living for Mississippians.

“I believe in God, the Constitution and the freedom of all Americans,” Branch said. “I intend to be what the people of District 10 want for a ‘public servant.’ I will work for the people of the district and I appreciate the opportunity.”

Vann is married to Eileen Branch. They are members of the United Methodist Church of Batesville. He is an avid fisherman and hunter and will work for Sportsman’s Rights. Vann is looking forward to working with the Chamber of Commerce and the Economic Development & Visitors’ Bureau to establish initiatives and opportunities for growth in both economic and social pursuits.

Paid for by the Mississippi Republican Party.
