Palazzo wants allies to take over lead role in Libya
Congressman Palazzo said the United States should not commit ground troops to Libya because our country’s military is already spread too thin. He said our allies should take control of peacekeeping efforts in Libya.
According to Palazzo, “If it’s that important to the region, then I think our allies should be leading the effort and we should be in a support role.”
Palazzo said the country is currently in the process of defining our mission in Libya.
