U.S. budget: Bipartisan only way
Ask none other than Mississippi’s junior U.S. Sen. Roger Wicker, R-Tupelo, an entrenched “insider” who has welcomed the new tea party reformers with open arms.
You may recall that Wicker was one of those “Contract With America” reformers in the House back in 1994 who were elected to, among other things, open up Congress to the people, impose term limits to deter “career politicians,” and “guarantee an honest accounting of our federal budget by implementing zero base-line budgeting.”
