Columbus named entertainment district
COLUMBUS, Miss. (AP) — The city of Columbus has been designated an entertainment district.
The announcement was made Wednesday by Mayor Robert Smith and Secretary of State Delbert Hosemann.
Smith says he expects the designation will bring more entertainment venues to downtown.
