Barbour peace plan: Stop pushing for Israeli concessions
Washington politicians who push Israel to give in to Palestinian demands are forcing the Jewish state to make “dangerous strategic concessions” that only result in more terror attacks, Haley Barbour told an audience in Israel Tuesday.
In Washington, “one point of view sees Israel as a problem,” Barbour said at the Herzliya Conference, a national security policy gathering in Israel. “People who hold this view feel themselves to correct to demand from Israel an endless series of dangerous strategic concessions, even though they should have learned by now: When Israel makes such concessions, in return it is rewarded with nothing but more rocket attacks.”
Barbour said he’s in a different camp.
