Coast businessman on hand for BCS title game
Dave Dennis, a longtime Coast businessman, has a rooting interest in tonight’s BCS national championship game between Auburn and Oregon.
Dennis is in Tempe, Ariz, hoping to see the top-ranked Tigers (13-0) win their first national title since 1957.
“Anytime the SEC can be represented in a national title game is a plus,” Dennis said. “When it’s your alma mater, it’s a bigger plus.”
The Atmore, Ala., native is an Auburn alum, graduating four decades ago. Dennis met his wife, Jane, at Auburn. They’ve been married for more than 30 years.
