Wicker speaks out on new session of Congress
HATTIESBURG, MS. (WDAM) – In Washington DC on Wednesday, the 2011 session of Congress began with an increased number of Republicans in the House.
In the Senate, Mississippi’s Roger Wicker said he is prepared to cut government spending.
Senator Wicker was among the elected officials present for Tuesday’s announcement of Stion locating a solar panel manufacturing facility in Hattiesburg.
He was also present for the latest session of Congress Wednesday in the nation’s capitol, where several new members of the Senate were sworn in.
