Minor wants to finish brothers’ projects
Ray Minor is the brother of deceased North Mississippi Transportation Commissioner Bill Minor and is running for the post to finish the projects his brother started.
“He and I had been in business together for over 45 years and we were close and always knew a lot about what each other were doing,” Minor said. “I think I can persuade congress to provide money to North Mississippi just about as well as anyone else and I might have some friends down there who can help more than someone else.”
Minor rattled off some of the projects his brother started that he wants to finish: Highway 15 from New Albany to Faulkner, Highway 9 and the I-22 corridor to name a few.
