SOUTHAVEN — Mississippi Lt. Gov. Phil Bryant chose Southaven as one of several stops in kicking off his statewide bid for governor Monday.
“It’s all about economic development — it’s about growing jobs,” Bryant said at a press conference at Aerospace Products International in Southaven.
Bryant’s stop was sixth among stops across the state. An estimated crowd of about 175 people turned out for the event.
Bryant said he chose DeSoto Country to wrap up his whirlwind tour because he wanted to “end strong.”
