State lawmakers to tackle budget, redistricting
Redrawing district lines. Economic development. Oh, and that $634-million-plus breach to be plugged in the absence of federal stimulus dollars.
As always, state lawmakers plates will be full when the 2011 session is gaveled to a beginning Tuesday.

Percy Watson, D-Hattiesburg, who chairs the House Ways and Means Committee. “Of course, from my end, we deal with a lot of economic development measures. I understand that we will be considering those measures perhaps early in the session, and that’s about as much as I can say now.
