Judge: Entergy overcharged customers in Mississippi, 3 other states

BATON ROUGE, LA. — A federal regulatory judge has found Entergy Corp. overcharged customers in four states by the way it sold electricity.

Mississippi Attorney General Jim Hood on Monday announced last week’s ruling by an administrative law judge for the Federal Energy Regulatory Commission.

The investigation covered subsidiaries with about 2.7 million customers: Entergy Arkansas, Entergy Gulf States Louisiana, Entergy Louisiana, Entergy Mississippi, Entergy New Orleans and Entergy Texas.
