Bryant brings real world experience to gov’t class
It’s a Monday night and the lieutenant governor of Mississippi is teaching nine college students about American government and politics.
Pacing across the front of a small classroom at Mississippi College, where he has taught part-time since 2001, Phil Bryant lectures with an easy confidence and without notes.
He reviews the qualifications to run for president – a candidate must be a natural-born U.S. citizen, at least 35 years old and a resident of this country at least 14 years.
