Barbour: 2012 cards falling his way
It is ironic that the first serious potential contender for the presidential nomination of a major political party in America since the Civil War may fall victim to the very “big tent” politics he has long believed would grow his party.
Mississippi Gov. Haley Barbour is as well positioned as any Republican in America to challenge for the Republican presidential nomination in 2012. Barbour, term-limited from seeking another term as governor, is on every GOP short list of potential candidates in the country.
