On-campus memorial will celebrate Bell’s life

The service is scheduled to begin at 6:30 inside the Bettersworth Auditorium at Lee Hall. The event will be open to the public. MSU coach Dan Mullen and select players are expected to speak at the memorial.

Bell, 20, died Tuesday afternoon in Birmingham after a brief battle with cancer. A funeral has been scheduled for Saturday at noon at the Faith Chapel Christian Center in Birmingham. A viewing will be held Friday from 1 to 6 p.m. at Roberts Funeral Home. Both services will be open to the public.
