Imagine being the guy who must replace Auburn junior quarterback Cam Newton in the next year or two. Welcome to the life of Sporting News Top 100 quarterback Kiehl Frazier, who picked the Tigers earlier this year, before Newton’s rise to the top of the Heisman Trophy candidate list.
After Newton leaves, Frazier is expected to be a serious candidate to start at quarterback—whether it’s as a true freshman in 2011 if Newton leaves for the NFL after this season—or as a redshirt freshman or sophomore in 2012.
