SEC East tumbles from feast to famished for wins

Don’t look now, but the Southeastern Conference’s once-powerful Eastern Division is a train wreck.
Since the conference expanded to 12 teams, the Eastern Division has dominated, winning 14 of the 18 SEC Championship Games. Florida leads with 10 Eastern Division titles, followed by Tennessee with five and Georgia with three.
At this juncture, South Carolina is the only Eastern Division team with a .500 SEC record, a modest 2-2. Four teams already have three losses, including Florida, Georgia and Tennessee. The East’s composite SEC record is 8-16, compared to the West, which is 15-7.
