Justice Dept. Opens Civil Investigation into Entergy
NEW ORLEANS – Entergy Corp. said Tuesday that the Justice Department is conducting a civil investigation of competitive practices of its regulated power units.
The investigation covers Entergy utilities operating in portions of four states: Entergy Arkansas, Entergy Gulf States Louisiana, Entergy Louisiana, Entergy Mississippi, Entergy New Orleans and Entergy Texas, the company said.
Also involved is Entergy Services Inc., which provides shared services to all of the utilities, such as engineering.
