Mississippi St wary of Case-less Cougars

Mississippi State coach Dan Mullen knows better than to underestimate Houston — even though the Cougars have lost quarterback Case Keenum for the season due to a knee injury.
Houston (3-1) still has one of the nation’s most powerful offenses, ranking sixth in scoring (44.25 points per game) and 19th in total yardage (465.5 per game).
Houston coach Kevin Sumlin will wait until Saturday to announce if freshmen Terrance Broadway or David Piland will start at quarterback against the Bulldogs (3-2) that night at Robertson Stadium.
Mullen said the choice won’t matter because the Cougars have plenty of other playmakers.
