One magic run will end in Michigan

Through five games, Robinson has 1,913 yards of total offense, leads the nation with 905 rushing yards, twice has rushed and passed for more than 200 yards in a game and twice has scored a game-winning touchdown in the final minute. He also has scored on runs of 32, 47, 72 and 87 yards.

But Robinson did that against Connecticut, Notre Dame, Massachusetts, Bowling Green and Indiana. Massachusetts is an FCS school. Connecticut, Notre Dame, Bowling Green and Indiana rank between 68th and 116th in the nation in run defense.

But Michigan State is 20th in the nation in run defense and hasn’t allowed an individual to reach 100 rushing yards this season.
