Eagles seek to redeem ’09 game that got away
HATTIESBURG — Of all the highs and lows of the 2009 football season, Southern Miss players were never more deflated than they were following a 25-20 loss at East Carolina that all but eliminated the Golden Eagles from the Conference USA race.
Coach Larry Fedora and his players say that loss hasn’t been forgotten.
