LSU’s Peterson may get a shot on offense
“We’re investigating it, working hard at it and will see if we can get it accomplished,” Miles said.
Playing Peterson on offense, though, would have nothing to do with a Heisman Trophy campaign, Miles insisted.
“It would be to help us offensively and not in relation to some national award,” Miles said.
The Tigers could certainly use the help on offense, particularly in their passing game. They’re ranked 115th nationally in passing offense.
Peterson, who’s already returned two punts for touchdowns this season, said following the opener at North Carolina that he’d gone to the coaches more than once about playing some on offense.
