HALEYWATCH – Barbour follows Clinton Maine
Haley Barbour is in the delightful little hamlet of Portland, Maine today to host a fundraising luncheon for Republican gubernatorial candidate, Paul LePage.
Bill Clinton was in town yesterday, where his star power remains.
The Portland Press Herald reports that hundreds of fans stood in the rain for three hours, waiting to get into a community college’s gym to hear the former POTUS stump for Democrat gubernatorial candidate, Elizabeth Mitchell.
According to a new Greenberg Quinlan Rosner Research poll, LePage leads Mitchell, 38%-34%, with three independent candidates combining for 20% of the vote.
