Rishaw Johnson dismissed; Brandon Sanders suspended
OXFORD — Junior offensive guard Rishaw Johnson has been dismissed from the Ole Miss football squad for “violation of team rules.”
Coach Houston Nutt also announced Thursday that sophomore linebacker Brandon Sanders has been suspended indefinitely.
Johnson, a Hammond, La., native, started five games over his UM career, including four last season and this year’s opener. Sanders, a Suwanee, Ga., native, has appeared in 12 games.
