Soph Stanley says he’s prepared to lead Rebs in Masoli’s absence
Maybe Friday night as he tries to get some sleep. Perhaps Saturday as he walks through the Grove with his teammates. Or maybe just as he runs onto the field at Vaught-Hemingway Stadium for Ole Miss’ season opener against Jacksonville State.
But the sophomore quarterback doesn’t mind one bit.
“I have waited this long to be the starter, so I’m looking forward to it,” said Stanley. “It’s exciting. I have been a backup for two years, so I can’t wait.”
