Charles Mitchell key to Mississippi State defense

HUNTSVILLE, AL. –“You give me 11 Charles Mitchells on defense, we’re going to have the number one defense in the country,” Mississippi State coach Dan Mullen proclaimed.
How dedicated is Mitchell, a junior safety for MSU? He had some back and hamstring injuries in the off-season. The hamstring was his fault.
“(Mullen) blamed me,” Mitchell said. “He told me I was going too hard.”
Alas, there is but one Charles Mitchell.
