Florida coach Urban Meyer, who votes in the USA Today coaches’ poll, says he’s ready to vote Boise State No. 1 should the Broncos eventually deserve it.
“It’s all speculative at this point because none of us know how the season is going to play out, and frankly, because I’ve got a team to prepare for the season,” Meyer told Sporting News. “But if Boise State is the best team in America at the end of the season, you better believe I would vote them No. 1. If they deserve to play in the BCS championship game, they should play in it.
